Princess Nebula knows that life must continue even after the death of her beloved brother Prince Orion at the hands of the Lord of Darkness, Lord Huron.
But the struggle is great because she is burdened by the grief for not only her brother but by great concern for Little Bird. He still has not returned from his latest trip to the Noblemen in the Realm, delivering the finest and most beautiful of his white feathers for their ladies' caps.
She decides to embark upon a quest for Little Bird, much against the advice and desire of her father, King Saros. Nevertheless, she assembles her ladies in waiting and her courtiers and asks them to prepare for the trek across the Realm.
Summoning her white stallion Favory, from the Lipizzaner stables of one of the Realm's greatest noblemen, Lord Vilano, Princess Nebula readies herself for the long journey
She dresses in her royal traveling gown, preparing to take with her items of sustenance, grapes for the journey and the elixir of Eucalyptus in a silver & ruby urn, which, when journeying across the Realm, one must be certain to possess. Its magical formula wards off evil, demons and the dark forces of Lord Huron lurking in the dense and dark forests. They must pass through the Realm of High Reaches.....where the Apostlian Monks grow fields of eucalyptus and where they will obtain more elixir.
Princess Nebula will travel to all reaches of the Realm to find Little Bird, knowing how dangerous and long the journey very well might be.....

Chapter 4 The Quest Continues
Beautiful Princess Nebula continues the long and arduous journey across the Realm in search of Little Bird.
Taking respit at the home of one of the Realm's great Noblemen who Little Bird visits frequently to bring his beautiful white feathers, she thinks of her brother Prince Orion and his recent death in the fight against the dark and evil forces of Lord Huron.
Little Bird is constantly in her thoughts and dreams, beautiful and comforting.....
She sits in the beautiful garden, visited by creatures free to live and wander this magnificent estate....deer, beautiful birds, butterflies and many, many more...
Her crystal bowl of grapes beside her, she opens one of her traveling trunks, looking for the jewels she will wear this day, many of the finest brought to her by Little Bird upon returning from his many travels...
Princess Nebula thinks that her jewels would look more magnificent and the garden even more beautiful and lush if Little Bird were just sitting on her shoulder, quietly telling her of his travels, all the beautiful sights he's seen, the treasures of jewels and gold...he seldom speaks of the dark and evil forests and Lord Huron's armies, but Princess Nebula knows it is always a threat to Little Bird.
She hopes beyond hope that he has not met with some terrible misfortune at the hands of Lord Huron and dreams of the day, soon, when she hopes they will be reunited......

Chapter 2
A gloom has settled over the kingdom as its subjects learn of the death of Prince Orion, Princess Nebula's beloved bother, who, so brave and courageously fought on the front against Lord Huron and the Forces of Darkness.
Princess Nebula mourns his loss and dreams fondly of his loving memory as she prays for peace and for him.
The Realm is in a state of chaos and shock as so many times in the dark of night Lord Huron's dark forces enter the kingdom and ravage the villages, killing many innocents.
She worries also about Little Bird as he is long overdue from one of his flights to the Realm's noblemen delivery some of his best and most beautiful feathers for their ladies' caps.
Wondering why life must be as it is, she continues to pray for Prince Orion and for peace in the Realm.
So tired from grief, Princess Nebula lies down to rest and hopefully dream of good and beautiful things.
In her dreams, streams and flowers abound with beautiful waterfalls, gorgeous butterflies, bright blue skies and pouffy white clouds like the beautiful feathers of Little Bird.....
She suddenly jolts awake and remembers........Little Bird......where are you? Please come back........
Princess of the Realm Chapter 1
Princess & the Pearl
As legend has it, long, long ago in a land very, very far away, there lived a beautiful princess Nebula, named because she was the brightest and most beautiful of all the stardust in the galaxy.
One day as she was walking in the forest, she came across a baby bird. “Poor baby bird,” she said, reaching down to pick him up, cupping him in her delicate white hands.
“You have no mother?” He chirped at her and she knew his mother had met with the dark forces of Lord Huron, the one who destroys all creatures in his path no matter how innocent .
“Come with me, little bird”, Princess Nebula said ever so softly to him, “and I will nurture you and you will grow into a fine young bird of feathers so fine and beautiful that you will be sought after throughout the land for feathers you preen and give to noblemen for their ladies’ grand caps“.
So, the princess took this little bird home and he did grow into a fine young bird with feathers so fine just as she described. Princess Nebula told Little Bird, “You are growing into a fine young bird of wonderful feather and I have noticed that each new feather gets more beautiful and rare, becoming more and more white like the grandest of clouds above us.”
To repay her for her love and kindess, when he would fly to lands far away to give his feathers to the noblemen, he would always search for the finest pearls and jewels to adorn Princess Nebula’s gowns.
They had to be the most fiery of crystals and the most milky of pearls plucked from the most fertile of oysters to be found.
He would fly back to his princess and carefully place each gem, each fiery crystal and each pearl in just the right spot on Princess Nebula’s gowns.
Little Bird wanted Princess Nebula to be the most beautiful being in the land and only the finest of jewels could adorn her. He knew one day he would give her the finest of his whitest of white feathers but that day had not yet come…..
Princess Nebula was ever so pleased and grateful, telling him how much he had made her happy with all his beautiful and rare findings.
Little Bird dreamed of the day he knew would never come, when he would become a fine young prince of noble class and walk beside Princess Nebula as her equal.
But alas, he feared he would always have to settle for his guilded cage and sitting on the beautiful, fair hand of Princess Nebula.

Chapter 5
Beautiful Prncess Nebula has traveled many places in the Realm searching for Little Bird. The journey is long and difficult but she knows he is still out there and needs help coming home.
She finds herself at the Palace of the Guard in one area of the Realm where many noblemen gather to collect Little Bird's fine white feathers for their ladies' caps.
Little Bird had been there recently so Princess Nebula knew she was close and would find him soon.
She was told marvelous stories of Little Bird and how he came to deliver the finest and most beautiful of his white feathers and told of how he brought the most perfect and beautiful of pearls and jewels for the pricess to adorn her gowns and she herself.
The princess is readying herself to the palace ball this evening so she prepares, selects some of Little Bird's finest jewels and a gown adorned with his wonderful jeweled treasures.
Knowing that he was close, her spirits were greatly improved and she anxiously looked foward to the evening's festivities.....
